Rocks, Snot and Weekends
Its been a couple of weeks. Trish and Mia are back to normal. Mia now has sixteen teeth through and it looks like the molars are on their way through just to keep her on edge.
With the teeth Mia has had her first bought of runny nose. She started to get a bit conjested on Friday and by Saturday morning it was running like a leaky tap (we think it is more teeth). We have snot every where.. Mia started to use her tounge to get rid of the trickle running from her noise, but she also managed to get it on the couch, TV and any where else she put her hands. She also quickly learnt to come to Mum to get her noise wiped when it was annoying her. By Sunday afternoon it started to slow down, but given the way she is put things on gums at the back of the mouth and her rosie checks, we think that molars are well on their way.
Darren has spent the last couple of weekends moving large paving rocks around the yard, building a BBQ area off the laundry. The largest rock was over 120kg until a quick hit with a sledge hammer gave him two more managable rocks. He has managed to pick each rock up several times in trying to get the mosaic together and to bed down. He is happy as it would be more than a couple of tons and he has hurt his back yet. There is still another weekend in getting them all level and filling in the gaps.
Trish had a hectic weekend with another friends baby's first birthday party, friends from Emerald (Bec and Nelle) calling in from Emerald. As well as the next stage in the move of the study into eatery. The computer desk is now under the window with the bookshelves to come over the following weeks. This will also us to turn the study into Mia's new bedroom, ready for number 2.
Chewy (baby to be) is now at 19 weeks and Trish is regularly getting kicks and feels movement. After two weeks of morning sickness that seemed to be bought on by her viral infection in late February, Trish has a new found respect for mothers who have it for weeks on end.
We are now on Skype - trish_springer (has web cam) or the.springers_oz (old computer with no web cam) will get us.
We also uploaded some new photos on our Picasa web page of Mia playing around in the pool and using her bowl as a hat.
Thats all for now.
Blog again soon,
DTM.
