7 Weeks 2 Go
We only have seven weeks until the new bub is due. We will be heading to Brisbane on the 19th of July and don't expect to be home until mid August.
Darren has nearly finished the room under the house, just the finishing touches on the plastering and its only the painting to go.
Mia has been developing fast. She is sleeping well in her new bedroom and apart from the odd wetting the bed, she is sleeping very well. Her vocabulary has grown significantly, with heaps of new words. She has developed a wicked sense of humor and of finds simple things very funny.
Mia is very definite in what she want's however we are finding ways around this, through bribery and diversion.
Trish seems to have thrown all of her ailments of autumn and has started winter feeling good. Apart from not being able to pick up Mia, she is doing great. The bub is very active and can definitely hear, based on the amount of kicks that pepper Trish's belly when Mia yells or cries.
We had our friends the Grundy's down the other weekend and their two girls- Natasha and Dani really kept Mia entertained. There was lots of running and hiding going on.
Darren's parents also came to visit and Mia has shown that she is a real grampa's girl.
Lastly Trish entered some herbs and flowers in the Clermont Show and won two first places. Not bad for just running around the garden with scissors at the last minute.
